In 2021, Lu and Trisha's paths crossed at a global consulting firm, where each honed their expertise—Lu in user experience design and Trisha in user experience research. Driven by a shared passion for understanding user behavior and crafting meaningful experiences, they came together to establish NovaXperience, a remote boutique firm based out of Kansas City, dedicated to advancing the field of UX.

As a UX designer, I focus on crafting user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience. I collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive design solutions.
My goal is to create digital products that are not only functional but also engaging, compelling, and memorable for users.
Fun facts: has been told her voice could put you in a trance, has two Pomeranian sidekicks, loves flowers and practices Ikebana, and would happily live out of a suitcase if it meant traveling the world 24/7.
Trisha Thommi
Co-Founder & Lead UX Researcher
As a UX researcher, I specialize in understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through various research methodologies. I synthesize and transform these insights into actionable recommendations that inform and guide the design and development of intuitive, user-centered digital products.
My goal is to ensure that every user interaction is seamless, intuitive, and aligned with the strategic goals of our clients.
Fun facts: thinks she’s a detective (aka loves true crime), could eat sushi every day, loves to read and not-so-secretly loves going to movies by herself.
